Solid Works

Solid Works

SolidWorks is a solid modeling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) computer program that runs on Microsoft Windows. SolidWorks is published by Dassault Systèmes.

SolidWorks could be a solid modeller, and utilizes a constant feature-based approach that was ab initio developed by PTC (Creo/Pro-Engineer) to make models and assemblies. The computer code is written on Parasolid-kernel.

Parameters talk to constraints whose values confirm the form or pure mathematics of the model or assembly. Parameters is either numeric parameters, like line lengths or circle diameters, or geometric parameters, like tangent, parallel, concentric, horizontal or vertical, etc. Numeric parameters is related to one another through the utilizationof relations, that permits them to capture style intent.

Design intent is however the creator of the half desires it to retort to changes and updates. as an example, you’dwish the outlet at the highest of a potable will to remain at the highest surface, notwithstanding the peak or size of the will. SolidWorks permits the user to specify that the outlet could be a feature on the highest surface, {and will|and will} then honor their style intent despite what height they later assign to the can.
